Speaking of wind farms, this just out...

Juno Beach, Florida, July 10 (Bloomberg) -- FPL Group Inc., the largest U.S. producer of electricity from wind, said its power- plant unit bought wind-powered generators in Minnesota from Enron Corp. for an undisclosed price.

The 104-megawatt Lake Benton wind farm began operating last year and can generate enough electricity to light about 100,000 homes. The output will continue to be sold to Northern States Power Co., Minnesota's largest utility, under a 25-year contract.

FPL operates wind farms in five states that can generate 974 megawatts, providing pollution-free power amid increasing pressure from politicians and environmentalists to cut harmful emissions. FPL plans to build wind farms that can generate as much as 500 megawatts to 1,000 megawatts by the end of next year.
