Yeah, I recall reading another book where people were selling options on pieces of paper, buck slips, during the 1920s and prior. Both here as well as in Europe, where I believe I recall it started.

Confusion de Confusiones, by Joseph de la Vega, yes I have that as well but in another copy. It appears one copy has the bubbles and the manuscript by de la Vega and the other is just MacKay but includes several other topics; and it's 718 pages. I'd forgotten about that. That's a good read, eh?

Looks like those income taxes are going to be real late again this year.
