<<Well, I find the chicken and pork I buy pretty flavorful,>>

They ain't bad but they don't have the taste of wild running meat. Real farm raised chickens laid eggs with almost orange colored yolks. They ran and developed muscle. Ate a varied diet. Bugs, grasses, grains, seeds, mice, whatever.

Hogs the same. Turn them loose and let them run. Fight the weather, cover some ground, eat snakes, eat pheasants, eat slow people and eat some slop. Made the meat taste like real meat. Now I'm going back to when real men butchered their own meat. Bet you never snapped the head off a chicken or butchered a hog.
