we just had an earthquake...the buildings seem by and large still to be standing, but reportedly some people fell out of their beds...

The name Krispy Kreme keeps coming into my peripheral vision. I ignored it the first 10 times or so, but today I have finally read an article (ike, in the NP) about this donut maker/seller.

This silliness will figure in one of the episodes of the "What Were We Thinking" mini-series.

(ike, Finally the US gets a Tims-like donut craze :)
