tinkershaw: Yes. Over the years I have found that one major mistake I made (and I have made many) was to buy a stock because it was the "cheapest" in the group and therefore a "bargain". Wrong.

The strongest in the group was the best buy in reality - even if (and particularly if) it had the highest PE.

Hard lesson, counterintuitive even.

Of course, in my case all this was before the Gorilla Game which is a very great help in avoiding this trap and generally poor practice.

Note: This is separate and distinct from buying the leader when its price has dipped. That is a good idea.
