Mike: I think Fortuna is right on the money. I expect a total earnings of .23. It may be .21+.02 or .20+.03.
We may even be surprised with .21+.03. At .23 Dell will be on its way to .90, a 50% increase over last year. That will give Dell a push between 54-60, unless irrational exuberance sets in.
.24 will mean we are closer to Kemble's estimate and Dell jumping to 54-60 immediately will be justified. And based on later performance may hit 65 by end of the year.
.20 will disappoint everybody and we may see a drop to 45.
.21-.22 will be neutral and we may see a fluctuation between 48-54.
.23 will keep us on a steady rise towards 60 for the end of the year.
I hope Dell can really do .21+.03 and stock gets lifted to 54-60 range. I will position myself based on these earnings and any special news.
I am buying at 48 and start a slow sell at 54 (without touching a base number of shares which will stay unless we hit 100 this year).
