Actually, it's funny you mention that. At the beach house this week they had a large book collection and we were talking about which ones we had read. My mom asked me about Solzhenitzen, and had I read Gulag A. I told her yes, plus 2 others.

Leon Uris has some lengthy tomes as well. I remember Trinity being quite long. Also Clavell (sp) and those books about Japan were huge.
