Exactly, trust is built from small acts which seem insignificant at first glance, but over time built upon eachother. You have to walk-the-talk and truly believe in the core decency of people. So many factors prevent true leaders such as Admiral Konetzni from rising to the top in hierarchical based organizations with strong cultural norms such as the Navy.

I hope being recognized by the Wall Street Journal goes far in influencing his peers.
