Re: "But we haven't even counted increasing revenues from flash, so $8 per share (taxed) seems highly do-able."

Comment: Thank you for your detailed analysis...I used a much higher ASP for the non-Duron Athy contributors at around $450 on the assumption that AMD will continue to own the top-end and AMD's fastest processor will always command a premium and be in high demand...Also, since the introduction of the Athy to date, the $0.10/share/100k incremental Athys (pre-tax) seems to have been in the ballpark...Too early to tell, I agree, what will be the actual Athy mix profile for Q3 and Q4, but in any event, it seems that we are both very comfortable with the possibility of an AMD Y2000 eps exceeding $7.00...AMD is evolving so rapidly at the moment, it's very difficult to determine by how much $7.00 might be eclipsed, but I'm not counting out a $10.00 eps in light of BofA's comments concerning the ease with which they believe the Q3 and Q4 targets of 3.6 and 7.2 million Athys will be achieved...The current rate of 2000 wpw, if true, would corroborate BofA's optimistic production forecast..It's going to be excitingly positive times for AMD throughout the remaining months in Y2000 and as far as the eye can see beyond Y2000, imho!
