He was 100% wrong. He said "at least blah blah blah".

If you go short and the stock makes 29% of the move you were expecting in the direction you were expecting, you gain 29% of the gain you were expecting.

KissyPutsAndCalls (as he is known on the AMZN thread where he has lost several times the world's GDP on the trades he has claimed to make) is an options player. When you are expecting a price move of "at least" a certain amount and choose strike prices accordingly and the move is only 29% within the time period of your prediction, the usual outcome is to lose the entire stake.
