( BW)(PA-COLLECTIBLE-CONCEPTS)(CCGR) A Highly Collectible Admission Ticket to 'X-Men, the Movie'

Business Editors

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2000--

Dog tag-wearing Celebrities in New York City!

If Hollywood's biggest stars want to attend the world premiere of "X-Men," they'll all wear dog tags designed by Collectible Concepts
Group, Inc

At the July 12th world premiere of one of Hollywood's most anticipated summer movies, "X-Men," it will be easy to pick out the 700 celebrity guests. Every single one will be sporting an admission "ticket" in the form of the dog tags custom designed by Collectible Concepts Group, Inc. (OTC: CCGR) and worn by the superheroes of "X-Men."
The dog tag tickets, required for entry into the premiere party being held on Ellis Island in New York Harbor, are the brainchild of Daryle Seidman, President Collectible Concepts Group Interactive and Lyn Lonker, Creative Director of Collectible Concepts Group Inc. of Doylestown, Pa., a leading maker of and dealer in entertainment and sports collectibles.
Along with the X-Men dog tags, each premiere guest will receive a certificate good for free membership to Collectible Concepts' www.X-MenClub.com, the official online X-Men movie collector's club Web site.
The producers of X-Men tapped Collectible Concepts for their special expertise in creating unique limited-edition collectibles, including prop recreations, that bring the movie experience home for fans and collectors. The unique admission pass into the X-Men premiere is just another in Collectible Concepts' line of licensed entertainment and sports-related collectibles, produced for highly popular properties like the Austin Powers spy spoof and the Terminator science-fiction series.
"The dog tags are just one of the concepts we are releasing for retail sale in connection with the X-Men, along with X-Men belt buckles, graduation rings and limited edition prop replicas" says Seidman. "Because they're duplicates of the ones worn by the characters, they give fans a chance to feel like part of the movie. 20th Century Fox thought they were the perfect ticket and wanted to use them to add to the glamour of the premiere."
Similar dog tags are available in thousands of online and retail stores this summer such as Tower Records and ToysRUs.com (NYSE: TOY). The company created a special limited edition X-Men dog tag just for premiere guests. Marked on one side with the dramatic X-Men emblem, the premiere's tags are inscribed with details of the event emblazoned on the reverse side.
Collectible Concepts has already received better than $500,000 in orders for its X-Men items. And that doesn't count the exclusive premiere tags. Says Lonker, "It's a real honor for us to be able to make our mark on this event and a natural extension of the work we've been able to do with other movie properties like Austin Powers."
