JG The U.S. and Japan are expected to base their IMT-2000 systems on W-CDMA technology. LGIC has set up a task force for developing an IMT-2000 system and been taking active participation in standardization activities and joint research of base technologies at home and abroad. In addition, to secure W-CDMA technology which is crucial to the IMT-2000, the Company has joined the cdmaOne group, and is pursuing strategic ties with CDG and NTT-DoCoMo of Japan
