Laugh and joke all you want about the Baboon study but in my opinion says alot about BPI. Do you think Baxter and Xoma will respond to Lilly filing that patent application????

Apparently orangutan was pronounced "(')ba(')bu:n" by LLY. Or they just BS you. Baboon is a monkey. Orangutan is not a monkey, it's an ape. Apes have no tail.
Anyway, Taylor did his original APC and aTNF sepsis studies on baboons (from Africa). They're "cheap" and plenty. They do succumb to E. Coli infections. Death was totally prevented by APC infusion.
