mr mark, Norton AV e-mail protection also won't work with AOL and web-based e-mail providers.

service1.symantec.com

>Web-based email
Scanning of Web-based email accounts will also fail because the service provider stores the email database on a remote server, and not locally on your computer. A few of the service providers who use this method include the following: America Online (AOL), Juno, Hotmail, Eudora, and GTE.

Norton should just list the providers it DOES work with.
And, if Norton AV needs to have the e-mail on MY computer to scan it, why can't it work with MSN and why does Norton need to change my e-mail server and ID info? I think Norton
went off half-cocked on this one.

Again, if you MUST have this protection you could use hotmail where attachments are automatically AV checked by McAfee.

But I'd still recommend installing the new NU for the other improvements and still like Norton - but a little less. :)
