So, Joe, just how far behind AMD will Intel be with DDR chip sets?


Based on the same article I quoted here: Message 14025098 which said:

In Q3 2001, the roadmap shows that the Tulloch will replace the i820/i850 while the Almador will replace the i815 in the performance/mainstream segments.

Assuming that these will be the first DDR chipsets from Intel, I said 3 quarters to 1 year. Of course, there may be some chipsets from 3rd parties like Via, Ali or Sis, and most importantly ServerWorks before Q3 2001.
