Evening Labrador,

Regarding....One could buy the Jan $60 2003 calls, and sell the Jan $140 2003 calls for a net cost of around $12. So if Q is over $140 [hope so :-)], one would reap net proceeds of $80 at the expiration date, a gain of 667% [$80/$12, excluding commish].

I must say....Hell of a suggestion. I will have to look into this more.

I'm sure you'll agree that spreads and combos are very complex options maneuvers, Labs, and there are some downsides to them. I'd strongly suggest anyone interested in this sort of play read the comprehensive analyses in Roth's book before they attempt it.
