Oldy,

Golden Unicorn at the time was the largest restaurant in Chinatown. I believe it was 3-4 floors. Its on EAST BROADWAY and Elizabeth.

At one time it was considered the best and largest restaurant in Chinatown. I actually thought it was over rated. I havent been there in over 4 years.

My favorite restaurant since I was a child is HOP SING, I believe it is on MOTT street, about 5 stores away from the Church on the same side of the street.

It you get to HOP SING(street level, not the lower level) here are a few great dishes there:
CANTONESE CRAB
FISH CASSEROLE
SEAFOOD BASKET
CHINESE EGGPLANT
PEKING RIBS
HONG KONG CRISPY FRIED NOODLES, not the same as LO-MEIN

All those dishes were in the the $6-$10 range, except for the eggplant which was $4. Yep, it was really reasonable, but you need to put up with only so-so service.
