This is how a public corporation works - the shareholders elect the directors - the directors appoint the officers - and the officers run the company. The bullion banks, brokers, etc. don't run the companies in spite of the rhetoric on this thread. If, as you say the companies (you seem to think all companies that hedge) are committing economic suicide then the companies will fail, the mines will close and. presto. the POG will rise. But life being what it is, the only thing that's certain is change. I don't mind rational discussion - but balk at propaganda.
