Per The Street.Com (Cramer) this morning - gotta love it when Jim is NOT shorting EXDS...makes all us longs smile...bigtime.


So Digix gets bought by Exodus (EXDS:Nasdaq - news - boards) and Exodus buys the Global Crossing (GBLX:Nasdaq - news - boards) host division and next thing you know, Exodus is the "Host with the Most" and would be unassailable.

Why the heck not? Intermedia Communications (ICIX:Nasdaq - news - boards) is selling Digix. Why can't Exodus buy it?

There's no antitrust there. Global, which was supposed to have an Exodus killer rollout, will now be Exodus.

Of course, all of these acquisitions have to be paid for and there is no doubt that it will be paid for by Exodus shareholders. But the Street is in a forgiving mood re the Net -- thanks Yahoo! and Flipper!! -- and maybe, just maybe, the Street will love this combo. I am not short Exodus. I would be worried if I were
