Ivernia, I am not currently in the high tech high flyers, because short term I am playing the second tier high tech co.s. To me there is more immediate unrealized valueation in the top second tier high tech co.s. Also the trading ranges these co.'s repeat, represent addition profit opportunity for those that trade. Because many of these stock's storys are still open to debate, it causes the second tier high tech infastructure stocks to trade up and down on news. However I believe in the strength of the under lying trend in the info. technology build out, as do many others, and because this trend is very significant and on going I think it will pull my stocks along.
In answer to your earlier question, I would cost average into the high flyers overtime, and plan on holding these positions for a while. I would take half my profit in positions that got even more over valued than they presently are. I need to take a harder look at some of my own long term positions, and deal with the same consideration as you are. Most likely I will hang back though, because I have enough going on. However of the cash one might dedicate, for this purpose, I would only put a small amount of it to work at this time, in the top tier high tech high flyers. I think much of the easy money has been made in these stocks, for the moment.
