Bill

OT

The russians are just now finding they have excellent laws on the books fro the Commie years. they were just never used as the topdogs just told people what to do. Same with all the other religious groups. Once they have power, they get corrupted.

So why do you single out organized religion as a source of evil? It seems that you will find corruption / oppression / manipulation in any ruling class, religious or atheist.

Another highlight from Dean Kent's summary that I missed:

In the server market, the Itanium is scheduled to debut at 733MHz in early Q3 for 4-way and 8-way systems, then quickly ramping to 800MHz.

So Itanium will beat the 500 MHz barrier in early Q3. But wait. We are in early part of Q3 now! Another delay?

BTW, still no OS. How can I run the CpuId utility to find out that the CPU is in fact running faster than 500 MHz?
