This must really eat at you considering all that money you're losing over Qualcomm, which can't even get Nokia to sign a similar deal. LOL.

From Nokia's email response:

......In regards to 3G, Nokia is promoting WCDMA, and the royalties we currently pay to QualCom are believed to include 3G issues as well, but the specifics regarding WCDMA are still be decided, so I don't have a definate answer for you.

From the 2/99 Nokia press release:

"Nokia believes that its work with InterDigital over the next several years will complement its own development of third generation products," he said."
