TO THE THREAD. Thomas, I hope that you do not mind my using your post to launch a post of my own. If so, I will apologize in advance. To all those that love Jesus Christ, and respect the wishes of an innocent party in these, less than Christian, flingings of uncomplimentary words. Jake Straw has asked, in his revised opening remarks, that his thread not be used for any religious purposes. I feel that we should honor this request of a person who has, so graciously, let us carry on in way that he had not intended, when he started this thread. If all, and I know those that may not be honorable, do not accede to Jake's wishes, I would suggest to him, that he ask SI to yank the thread, so he can begin another that will follow his, original, intent. I don't know much about starting a thread, but those of us who believe in the Grace, Love, Blessings, and Promises of Jesus Christ, our Lord, should see that one is started, with the moderated feature, so that we can discuss, in peace, the Glory of God, and the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ. The door should be open to all who wish to, honestly, ask us questions about our Faith, with the intent to learn, but not attack. If it were up to just me, I can stand and fight these perpetrators of evil sects, and/or, cults, but do not feel that I should be responsible for dragging innocent people into the fray. As of now, I will no longer post on this thread because of my respect for the request of the beginner of the thread, but I do hope a new thread is begun very shortly. All of those that know me well, are welcome to PM me with any suggestions you may have.
