Ten - Re: "But the "native" Oregonians already hate it, and they're going to hate it even more if the local government doesn't take real steps real soon to expand the suburban infrastructure."

Intel and its employees have contributed HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of DOLLARS to Oregon's tax base over the past 25 years.

You might inquire as to where that money has gone.

I recall a fat BOZO politician named Hardy Meyers (possibly from Southern Oregon) who was looking to welfare-spend every last penny that Oregon collected from every last working stiff.

Is Big-Spender Hardy still around?

Ten,

I'm still wondering whether our local politicians will have the foresight to use the additional tax dollars to expand the infrastructure.

I lived in Phoenix 25 years ago when they decided that the best way to avoid becoming like LA was to not build freeways. About ten years later they discovered that the only thing worse than LA with freeways, was LA without freeways- and they spent 10 years scrambling to correct the lack of infrastructure.
