Hey JBC

caddie can't stand on an extended line of the putt during the stroke, it's been in the rule book that way for years.

If memory serves me right, this practice was in vogue for just a brief time about 20-25 years ago. I'm thinking it was in the same era as the side-saddle and between the legs putters. It was popular on the ladies tour as well.
