few teachers can be trusted to be objective and unbiased.

Ditto journalists, scientists, lawyers, doctors, investors, indeed humans. Indeed, I would challenge you to find anybody who is utterly and completely objective and unbiased on this issue.

After my brief stint at Ask God, I am more than ever convinced that separation of church and state must be strictly enforced, regardless of the apparent "reasonableness" of the requests.
