HO HO HO HO.. I must have stepped on some sensitive religious toes. Heee heee...

I was trying to be fair, but the way you responded to my post (the initial one) told me YOU are the fanatical one, and I don't like fanatics, particularly the religious type. I don't care what flavor they come in.

So, if you give me BS, I will simply respond, as you deserve.

As for your latest post, it is the confirmation of you being a fanatic, worse than I thought. Oh well.

I merely gave you my opinion, as for accusations... well, I did called you a fanatic, but I still see it so. I also told you what the general image of many have about Muslim behavior, which simply carries on the subject that Steven first made. Or the concept "religious war" against Israel is Spanish? I doubt it.
I am willing to judge the individual, and by your responses, I already told you: You are a fanatic.

But as I pointed out in my earlier comment, you read what you want to read and give the interpretation that best suits you, there is nothing I can do about that. Your problem.

Evidently, you are prone to feel offended for anything that does not agree with your preferences. Tough.

Now...

1) my wife has a PhD and has worked in high positions of authority. She freely chooses her beliefs and lifestyle and cherishes that freedom

Well, so what, I am not impressed. I won't hold that against her, since I don't care.

Read the post again; ask for her help I am sure she can assist you in the comprehension dept.

2) You don't know me at all

Never said I did, and I am not interested either.

. 3) Steven did not initially clarify that he was remarking on a local issue at all, he insinuated all Muslims in his comment

B S he did not say "ALL MUSLIMS" he specifically said a "Fanatical Muslim" This is what originated my response to you, he specified "FANATICAL" but then again... I repeat myself, you read whatever the hell you want to read and interpret. (Obviously with a hypersensitive slant).

4) Based on your comment about what a few, non-representative people have done, would you say that the foot loose opportunistic Mexicans living in border towns have earned a reputation that all hispanics should be forced to wear...I hope not. If not, then your sense of justice seems to be selective.

More B S... HAHAHAHA a "few representatives" ? You are pathetic. I think that the "few representatives" are more then a few, and the image is out there, don't blame me, they seem to have earned it. Now, you want that image to change, well, you'd better start behaving like a non-fanatic, but so long you act like a raving lunatic, it will only reinforce it.

As for Mexicans... well, I have no idea what do you mean by "foot-loose", all I can tell you about the Mexicans that cross the border to work, legal or otherwise, is that the great majority of them are very hard workers.

Are there Mexicans that are bad, and lazy, and lack the type of behavior some in the US would like them to have... well, yes, that is probably true there are lots like that, and as a result they have ended up with a basket case of a country that only now are they trying to fix, and frankly I have no idea they will be able to do it.

But so what's your point ? I don't deny it nor it offends me, I really do not identify much with Mexicans specifically, nor with anybody else, I am a member of the human race and that's that, I do not believe in nations, flags, or borders.

The truth is, I would rather be from Mars or Saturn, since I really do not feel very proud of the "accomplishments" of the human race. Now lately, ALL kinds of humans are finally realizing what a bunch of BS religion is and are becoming freer from it. This gives me hope for the future.

So say or think what you want about the Mexicans, the Americans, the Chinese, or the "Muslims". It does not going to offend me at all. It is your opinion. [And I already know you are a fanatic]. Best of all, I don't care.

. 5) I am quite well aware of the kinds of horrific acts some people have committed who are Muslims. The media has radar for such things and never fails to exploit it. Abuse exists everywhere. That reflects only on those individuals who would abuse a system, not the system itself or the group at large.

Yes, on that I agree. I would only add that the number of times and intensity of the deeds you refer to also add to the "speech" of those who perform it. Therefore, as a general image, I don't see many Mexicans suiting up in dynamite vests and blowing themselves to pieces, taking say... a border patrolman with him in the middle of a crowded street. Or many Chinese, ranting like a bunch of rabid idiots firing guns at random in celebration of some political rally. But I do see those with Muslim flavor. Are all Muslims like that ? Probably not, however, they seem to repeat this quite often. I think you should hire a PR firm and see what they say about changing this image.

. 6) Islam and Islamic practice is a choice, it is not OK to impose it on anyone. Your suggestions/bashings are simply the popular rantings of the ignorant masses. It appears you enjoy it, so I wont waste my time suggesting education on the matter

My suggestions ? HA ! They were questions, and as for YOUR attempt at saying that COMPULSION IS THE SAME AS FANATICAL, therefore prohibited by the Muslim religion... that is absolute rubbish.

Even if these terms were as you suggest, then explain why is it that Muslim terrorists feel they will go to heaven fighting a religious war, dying as a result of a fanatical terrorist act ?

As usual, religion has many unexplained contradictions.

I say rubbish.

As for Muslim practices being "one's choice" sure they are... I see women in Pakistan like to be treated the way they are... masses or no masses.

Sorry.. I do not see they are "the same thing" as you suggest.

7) I do not wish to debate this issue with you or anyone else.

Fine with me. I already know what I know --and deeds, not words is what I pay attention to.

. 8) Since you have shown yourself unworthy of respectful dialog, I will no longer respond to your posts on this thread or any other

Good, I think the same of you, in fact, I think you are a fanatic.

9) You have no business criticising ANYONE who tyrannizes others unless you are willing to start with the one who made those tracks leading up to the chair you are currently sitting in. You have no credibility.

HAHAHAHAHA

Are you saying I am "TYRANNIZING" You ?

There is the BS again... I was not "criticizing" you or "others" I was merely pointing out that Steve specifically used the word "FANATIC" in his reference to Muslims.

Then you responded with your grandiose bullsh*t, to which I responded with what you deserve, no more, no less. As for credibility... well, that is your opinion, what can I say. Besides, I have never been good at popularity contests, so what's new?

I will close by saying that I give no credibility to fanatics like you, so there, we reciprocate on yet another point. [Not to mention that you tried to say that compulsive and fanatical were the same thing.]

Ciao brees, don't forget to take your PROZAC, or else you may sin for becoming compulsive-fanatic-neurotic...

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Bravo, Brees, bravo. And I would also throw in a couple of comments about his sister.
