ENER is ready to break to new highs. Yesterday, Energy Conversion Devices announced that it has entered into a patent license agreement under its proprietary nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery technology with BYD Battery Co., Ltd. of the People's Republic of China. This is important because there have been a lot of NiMH batteries sold that have been produced by non-royalty paying producers, many from China. Pressure will now be brought on those producers to pay up.

Texaco recently bought 65M worth of ENER stock. A JV announcement is expected soon on the manufacture of the best solution for the onboard storage of hydrogen for the coming fuel cell hybrid cars.

UP 7/8 to 29 1/4 as I write this.

Del

TRMB +4 breaking 50 today on very high volume. Trimble (TRMB) is benefiting from recent decision by Department of Defense give civilian GPS users full precision signals. Without DOD tampering with GPS signals, GPS devices are now 10x more accurate. Also, new low-power consumption GPS device introduced by Trimble may be used by cellular industry to provide location information (for cell phone callers) to E-911 services as mandated by government.

JW, Thanks for the invitation but I'm not much of a chart person. Will drop by time to time though.

Nice going... This thread is red hot! <g>
