MAybe it's a good time post facto. Something to be proud of. "Yep- I threw up for 8 hours straight- It was amazing. SIck as a dog. Captain said he'd never seen anyone so sick. ONly time I stopped puking was when I got the fishhook stuck in my hand. Had ten stitches, and whooooie that tetanus shot was a doozie. The doctor says the scarring from the sunburn will fade in a few months. Can't wait til next year!" FOr me traveling is like that. All those strange people, and mess-ups-- HAVE to have mess-ups. No seats, no rooms, not open, I am always amazed at people like Thomas who seem to actually enjoy the act of traveling. I hate being away from my own bed until I'm back. Then I can remember in comfort how wonderful and exciting it all was. ANd I can't wait to go again.
