rick....always check with your cpa... what i was quoting was from a service provided to cpa's (tdb 10/98 key issue 18e publicly traded options and futures contracts) remember at this moment brokers are not required to report on a 1099b, but may do so....it is imperative that you keep accurate records should the irs challenge you.

Great press release by QCOM this AM. In conjunction with Irwin's quote yesterday, it seems real clear to me that we've got an excellent year ahead of us (the Bloomberg interview was the icing). In the nearly 4 1/2 years I have followed this company, EVERYTHING Jacobs has said has been right on the money. I know a lot of folks have been upset over QCOM's lack of PR of late, but it is vastly superior over the infinite amount of vapor news MOT/NOK and the like have put out over the years. Looks like we are having a tough time clearing that gap resistance this AM...but when it happens, it will happen in a heart beat. Good Luck all, Rick
