Doug- I got a little ancy when I read your post also. But that last sentence makes me believe that she was lying. Gateway sales people simply would not no if the product would ever e sold again, or whether it would be sold when fixed.

My major concern is if you received the shame information as another yahoo poster. Do you have the original yahoo post as a link?

If zillions (i.e once well into the marketing cycle) of T-birds get recalled by AMD, then we'll have a problem...It's very premature in the T-bird marketing cycle to be too concerned about some T-bird problem expressed by some unofficial and uninformed rep!
