yep, that sounds like one. they're quite strong actually. still, to see one charging down the street smack in the center of Jo'burg on a Monday morning was something else. i thought i was hallucinating at first.
most likely it escaped from an ostrich farm at the outskirts of the city at night. good thing it didn't escape from a crocodile farm...<g>

They sell ostrich burgers at Fuddruckers now. But they don't accept American Express.
