If it weren't July, Id be all over it. This is a tough time of year to figure out what to do. On one hand, we have earnings season, and are still way, way below our high of 5500 on Naz. Additionally, there are still many, many stocks that are way, way, down. So, in that respect, we have a good argument for a solid rally right into january with no major interuptions. However, when was the last time we did not have a summer sell off? Every year it seems we think of reasons why we wont have one this year, yet we always do. Additionally, as JW pointed out the other day, there seem to be a $hitload of people waiting to time this month and try to get out before any kind of sell off. In other words, everybody is sitting with their finger on the sell button because they want out before the major shit comes down. Me personally, well, I am justv trying to position myself properly. I am not selling everything, but do wish to "lessen the load".....get 100% off margin, so I will have a little spending power if we do have a sell off. I feel damned if I do, and damned if I dont, ya know? With the beating I have taken, it would be worse to be on the sidelines and watch a huge run, while on the other hand, I must be careful to limit any future beatings. So for now, I sit with mainly ITM 03 leaps in stocks like qcom and aol, and everything else I have is covered with july calls. Most will not get called unless they run big in the next 10 days and I will either have to sell or cover again. Anyway, thanks again for your thoughts. I've done alot of moaning, bitching and griping on the porch lately and whats amazing is any other place, and folks would be responding to me to get lost, chillout and etc, etc,...but here on the porch, it's nothing but wonderful people that put out a shoulder to lean on...it certainly makes times like this easier on the soul. Thanks again......by the way, I dont have much..only 200 shares, but look at that lptha move. I have to pinch myself to make sure I really own those shares....I mean, everything else I have has gone in to the shitter, so I am in bewilderment as to why lptha is moving up. Keith
