Dear Randy: I agree with the USA accounts. Destroys the whole purpose of trying to make people RESPONSIBLE by encouraging them to save their OWN money. Thats the trouble with those dogooders they think by handing people something they are improving their lot, I think the opposite. Give people and opportunity like an education and a job and let them improve their own lot. Can you imagin the number of new jobs which would be created if Capital gains taxes were eliminated? Can it happen, yes if we get a Republican President and Congress. jdn

You give a republican congress a republican president who is at all perceived to have a voter mandate and you will get a lot of reform. If this were to happen you would have a condition which has not existed for over 40 years. The more new faces in congress the better for true reform. That is the historical case.
