Is the close of the merger with TV Guide a defining moment for gmst in your much respected opinion?

No. The defining moment for me was the signing of the agreement because it called for either a merger or a joint venture. The important issue is the critical mass relating to the number of EPGs "controlled" by one entity. That mass would have been achieved sooner either through the closing of the merger or the implementation of the joint venture, making that initial agreement the truly defining moment.

Semantics? Probably.
