Let's face it.

In a fast growing segment of the industry this company is getting it's ass kicked. Management hasn't been up front about their troubles and they have cost a lot of people money with their rosy outlook and poor performance.

I will continue to follow the story but they sure as hell aren't getting any of my investment money. They had a great opportunity and fell flat on their collective asses.

Just my opinion,
Michael

My "tune" has indeed changed because the story has changed - it's called paying attention to the fundamentals.

While I've been bullish on MTI's prospects given the huge market opportunity staring them in the face, I've never pulled a punch in criticizing management or commenting on the company's sales weakness or poor product transitions in the past.

I thought Pearlman was an empty suit and stated so here more than once. And so I was certainly more than willing to give Raimondi a couple of quarters to do his thing.

Which leaves us with their current mess. This looks less like a one-time hiccup and more like a life-threatening cancer, to me. And without radical measures I see a grim future here.

I'd return the favor and comment on your invaluable contributions to this thread, but I can't really think of any. Have a nice day.
