OT OT Re: Cramer. I did not know his record was that good over the last decade or so. I normally don't use his holdings to make my investment decisions but I notice a big similiarity in the timings and stock holdings.
I guess that makes him pretty smart. <ggg>

People like Cramer invest in a many sectors and are knowledgable about lots of stocks but not necessarily experts on particular stocks. That knowledge lies with the analysts and management. That is why I also think that article was sour grapes---but he is human. A lot of short term traders (longs) were ticked.

I still like the way he is able to digest lots of market information very quickly to get to a decision on a particular stock or the markets in general. I find he is somewhat better at analyzing stocks than the market itself. I think he uses his nervousness about the market as his own contrarian indicator the same way many of us have done.
Actually, I sometimes use his level of fear in his commentary as a contrarian indicator.<g>

I hope they bring him back on CNBC. He is very entertaining.
