Jim,

Get yer butt down to Cuba & enjoy yer bad self. We have been through a meat grinder of late with QCOM & that has taken its toll on our psychology. Let go of those problems for the time being & let loose down there. Well...... don't let loose too much. Don't wanna have to send in the troops to bail yer butt out of jail <ggg>.

Look JW, you are down, but not out. The market will provide you plenty of opportunities soon enough. There is every reason to believe that we will correct in Aug/Sept/Oct. You should have plenty of time to do DD, and plan a course of action. Your TA & ability to analyize companies should provide you with several good profitable opportunities.

I know many on this porch have respect for your abilities. All you need to do is to plan your actions with your portfolio to mirror your convictions of your outstanding DD.

Now get outta here & enjoy!!!

Yer jackass wannabe porchmate,

Tim

JW,

This market is totally unpredictable, but you've done a fine job trying to get a feel for it and sharing your thoughts. Nice rally today. You were spot on predicting it if I remember. I have half a mind to sell a little into it, but I'm a fool and will hold on.

The psychological pain from Q has taken a big toll. Worse than anything I have ever experienced.

Anyway, we're all getting burnt out and need a breather, to be sure. Can't remember if you're headed south this weekend or now, but if you are - kick back and relax. If you like cigars, PM me and I'll FEDEX you a Cuban fresh from Hong Kong.

Best,

John

Hi my friend,

you haven't missed a damn thing. Nothing wrong with having cash on the side. Just be patient, the Naz gives you between a 1000 and 1500 more points to play with between now and the end of the year. One day has never made a rally, if you think the Houses will let this run continue without a dramatic pullback, that is where you will be wrong as opposed to putting creditable TA on the porch. Plenty of money to be made in at least a few companies that even this idiot likes. RNWK, NTAP, QCOM, RMBS, LPTH and even in spite what others are feeling, ELON. Remember, money always comes out of second tier stocks and goes into first tier on a rally day. That is what occurred to ELON. You will have plenty of chances to join this so called rally and the best entry points will probably occur Monday and Tuesday.

No matter how it may appear, we are still going up two steps forward and one back. Still say 5000 to 5500 by end of year on Naz.

Tell Fidel I still want one of those 59 Chevys.

Volts

JW, your not missing any rally just yet. Today was total short covering Across The Board. (even the yet to be profitable B2B's were flying out of the gate) And its about darn time those 'short' pricks decided to roll up the tents and move on; I hate those squatters.

Things are looking positive:

The RNC is about to begin and as usual Philadelphia isn't ready even one bit. The riverfront of New Jersey is sprucing itself up. (I have a sneaking suspicion Ms. Christy Whitman is going to be on the ticket as VP. I sure would like to see that. Besides name me another state that occupies both sides of the Mason/Dixon line.....?
I hate to tie political events to the Market but I think the convention could have a dramatic effect on the whole stock investing landscape.

As for this rally we're entering it really feels to me like its here to stay. And why do I say that because I left myself no spare cash to take advantage of these bargains.
Oh well live and learn I guess.

'Scott the Man' has got me turned onto writing CC's. I can't wait til Schwab gives me the green light. I did manage to free up some cash today in order to be ready.
Oh and don't think for one minute Tom that I won't be asking you for some advice too. It took a while for the whole concept to sink in but the ball of yarn finally dropped on my head and the lights came on! After witnessing what went on w/ TG yesterday and the "off air" conversation we had, I have finally decided I want to live the stress free life (better for my mental health) so it looks like CC's are the answer.

Hoping everyone is feeling as up as I am, Tim Thread
