Chic - you're right, the volume is pathetic. If the naz gives back half of the 140 its gained, AMD will likely drop into the red. I'm thinking of pulling back on some shares and picking them up cheaper.

An argument could be made that initial momentum was killed by the "born-again" rumor. Don't you think? Yesterday momemtum got killed by SSB follow-up report. This to me shows a high amount of nervousness from the investors/traders (and I have no clue why people are nervous about holding this stock at 80+). It is tough to recover from this kind of stuff on an intra-day basis.

Like I said yesterday it is entirely possible that, without any news or upgrades, we may not get any pre-earning rally. Kash's concerns about Motorola's earnings also sound valid to me. I would also be concerned about Intel's earnings. So, we may stay here until options expiration.
