07/11 3:50P (DJ) Intel Files To Sell 1.4 Million Micron Technology Cmn Shares

Story 0593 (INTC-D, INTC, MU, I/SEM, N/DJN, N/DJWI, N/HIY, N/WEI, M/NND...)

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Intel Corp. (INTC) registered to sell 1.43 million shares of Micron Technology Inc. (MU) common stock, valued at approximately
$124.2 million, according to a Form 144 released Tuesday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A Form 144 indicates an intention to sell restricted stock and opens the
door for an individual to sell the shares, but doesn't indicate if or when the
actual sale will occur or has occurred.
The filing indicates Intel intended to sell the shares July 7 on the Nasdaq
Stock Market. Goldman Sachs was listed as the broker.

As reported, Intel sold 23.96 million Micron Technology shares for total proceeds of approximately $9.84 billion between May 4 and June 9.

Since that time, including this filing, Intel has registered to sell
approximately 3.8 million more Micron Technology shares.
Micron Technology, based in Boise, Idaho, makes dynamic random access memory
chips, static and video RAMs and other semiconductor memory products.
