Yes, I meant, per report, Steve Ballmer, dismissed a report in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that said some analysts were suggesting early sales of the company's Windows 2000 operating system, launched in February, were ``underwhelming.''

So did I. Amazing the way things are worded can completely throw off your idea.

3 million copies since the time it was released. I wonder if this ramp can be compared with any other Microsoft release in an apples to apples way.
