razor, I believe El Paso Energy is currently the sole supplier of piped gasoline and/or refiner to the El Paso region. They have been funding an environment cause to stop another company, their name escapes me, from converting an older crude line from West Texas to the Gulf Coast region around Houston, to a gasoline line from Houston area to El Paso. Currently they are in the catbird seat with no competitors. That may not remain true. They do have the Central Texas environmentalists on their side for all the wrong reasons. hdr
