No. Dell could not fix the problem either. Next I suppose I have to pay MSFT by the minute to tell me they cannot help either. Then my son returns from the frozen north....he really is up that far this summer, well somewhere not far from the Artic Circle if my information is correct....he may be able to diagnose the problem.

Then there is always uninstalling Windows 2000 and re-installing. Failing that fix, I could install Windows 98 and forget about the extra processor in the box.

I must have some sort of arcane setup that defeats certain programs.

How are you making out in the contest and otherwise?
