StockDoc you amaze me. You make some of the best post I have ever read. But you did not look at the patent until now because it would have taken one more click? My link lead to the very link Slugger provided. Well time is money and at least I have plenty of time.

Doc, you can wrestle with oddities of that patent till the cows come home but big event staring right at you is they want BPI involvement. Instead of trying to figure out how BPI can stand on its own, I have always approached it as BPI being an adjunct as in possible addition to conventional antibiotics in gram neg infections. Even Allergan started out this way with their original agreement. They could only add BPI to their antibiotics but now the agreement has been expanded.
