Jim, it would seem a couple of the heavyweights' "commitment" to VOFDM has wavered. Good digging.

On the MSFT front, I couldn't help but notice the similarities in vision. From the Wi-LAN website Network Living link:

Network Living – Anywhere, Anytime, to Anyone:

The future of Network Living will see a wireless network set up for public use. This network will allow you to do your work remotely, no longer worrying about telephone jacks or cable outlets. The signal from your laptop computer will be transmitted by a nearby wireless hub to its' destination. You're connected to an invisible data network anywhere, anytime and to anyone. Just imagine the freedom Network Living will permit.

And from rverrier's Microsoft.Net post on SH:

About Microsoft .NET
The Microsoft .NET Platform, announced June 22 at Forum 2000, is Microsoft's initiative for creating the next generation of software, which melds computing and communications in a revolutionary way. This vision offers developers, businesses and consumers the ability to harness technology on their terms and the tools they need to create truly distributed Web Services making information available any time, any place and on any device.

Nice to see WIN and MSFT are on the same wavelength.

Jim,
Good discovery! Obviously TI, MOT, Samsung & KPMG are now absent. MOT is supposed to join WIN's forum soon. Samsung is already, TI has long shown an interest in W-OFDM. Could it be that they have simply jumped ship for greener pastures? Wouldn't that be sweet?

RC bought heavily yesterday and they had been playing it cool for some time now. So we have them double their target and put out a 4 page summary report and nothing noticeable happens to the WIN share price nor their buying. Then a few days later boom. What do they know????? Cheers!!!

Hi Jim,

Well, let me ask the dumb question. Why don't I see Wi-Lan on the list of attendees at the IEEE-ISTO WOFDM meeting in Denver?
