Is there an epidemic of evil twins?

I wonder if Dr Id has a cure.

re: more for the evil twins - as long as we are having a few option flights of fancy, how about if we toss in a bit of TA to go along with it - strictly for the entertainment of our gambling inclined audience members (you know who you are).

Looking at the chart for NTAP it has formed what many TAers would call a cup with handle base. The theory is that such a base pattern is often the launchpad for higher prices. Yesterday, the stock broke out from the base on high volume, which is exactly what one wants to see. Today, so far, we are seeing a follow-through as NTAP rises further.

As cha2 would say, this is not sure thing, and sometimes patterns break down, but such patterns are often a good choice for options plays, since there is a good possibility that the stock will move strongly higher in a short period of time.

Ok, enough of that.

PS. (Take a look at the chart for JNPR to see how it should work out. It had a breakout from its handle on June 19)

PS2: I have the most evil of twins, but I don't let him post too often.
