Yes, he should have quite a good grip on the subject by now. "Unlike the typical 'SLAPP suit,' the Company's goal in filing this lawsuit is not to 'tie up' Bloomberg's resources for a sufficient length of time to accomplish an objective of 'chilling' the defendants' First Amendment rights. Our goal is to win." I take his point, though: they really really need the money.

Let me see if I can summarize the recent CA court rulings... HITT goes from $20 to .20, yet a class action suit against the company is dismissed -- twice -- while a lawsuit against the first journalist to warn investors about HITT is allowed to continue. Juries, judges, federal court, state court, it doesn't matter... if you are ever sued in California, don't be surprised if you end up in a courtroom full of people from (cue music) The Twilight Zone! - Jeff
