QCOM--3Com to bundle Qualcomm's Eudora on US Robotics modems SAN DIEGO, July 13 (Reuters) - Qualcomm Inc. (NasdaqNM:QCOM - news) said Thursday that 3Com Corp.(NasdaqNM:COMS - news) will bundle the wireless technology firm's Eudora e-mail programme on CDs with 3Com's U.S. Robotics branded modems worldwide, giving 3Com increased visibility for its U.S. Robotics product. As part of Eudora's distribution programme, computer networking equipment maker 3Com said in a statement it will get increased brand awareness online and offline from the co-branding pact. The U.S. Robotics' logo will get placement within the user interface of Eudora e-mail software in sponsored mode and the logo will be prominently be displayed in the Eudora user interface. The Eudora distribution programme lets its partners tap into its growing user base. Qualcomm has seen more than 1 million downloads of this newest version of Eudora since it was commercially released in mid-February.
