Whether "sheeple" think of it that way, or not, is irrelevant. You and I both know that if we didn't have paycheck withholding, we'd have a tax revolt on April 15th when the sheeple had to pay up and saw how much the government was confiscating from them. For politicians, paycheck withholding is seen as the most ingenious government invention, right ahead of the campaign donation checkoff box.
