Scotsman: <I figure todays move> With the recent downgrades by those that "missed the boat" it has to be we dihards and a few contrarians. The up price after the downgrades is proof that some may be attempting to move the price down to a better entry point and save face. There have been previous posts on this. I sometimes look at the posts on Raging Bull [S#%?] and over there, all anyone has to talk about is speculation on a buyout of Q and thus the value. Q has value as they are and taking in account their forward profile in the telco industry (as we know it today)they could be the best play because of their nimble aggressiveness compared to the older cos. The value to me and I hope others is the value in a couple of years is that they will not be a buyout, but a buyer. GBLX insiders dumped shares in the first ¼ and are now doing some "asset restructuring" as we have heard the last few days. They are not a buyout candidate at this point...spread too thin and no focus. Cos have bought fiber leases from GBLX, which is good as light, so no matter how they go, the "cable is laid". IMHOP, we could also be seeing some movement of tech/telco funds out of GBLX to Q in light of uncertainty at GBLX to maintain allocations.
Q is still good long term and given a few ¼'s, we could see them as the aggressor rather than a buyout candidate...that is what I am banking on.
